I have used this mic on a T2i,XHA1, 7D and others. makes a huge difference in terms of the sound. some people even used this as a handheld mic. there are different settings for the sound ranges, and works well as a shotgun mic.

For shooting in an outdoors environment, i recommend getting the deadcat windscreen.

Great Mic for a great price.well worth the money.

I've been shooting with this mic on a 5DMKII for a short documentary and it's done wonders for the sound. For live event / run and gun style shoots this mic is all you'll need!

I use this mic with my T2i and Beachtek DXA-5DA DSLR Adapter and it works better than I thought it would. Although in the low end price range, this mic dramatically improves the quality of the audio going into the camera. Definitely worth the price and more, especially in run and gun situations where quicker is better. One minor note is that I wish there was a little more support around the shock absorber.
