This remote shutter release works well. I found the operating distances were good to 60 feet outdoors with good batteries. Not as good as the Canon product, but it does work for a lot less money.

The remote is totally useless below about 5 degrees Celcius.
I do a lot of outdoor photography, and I am not impressed I wasted money on this product.
