Bought this on sale a few months ago. Use it frequently with a Nikon D3100. Good value for the price. Feels solid and stable, operates smoothly. Can be a bit to lug around on really long walks but not a major issue. Cheap enough not to worry about it; strong enough to trust it with my camera!

I got this tripod on sale, and it was worth it. It's a well build tripod, solid feeling legs and all aluminum head. The head is smooth and locks tight. Some issues though. When you rotate the head to the vertical position it doesn't stop at 90, it goes just past. Minor I know, but in a fast set up situation this can be annoying. The only other thing is I wish that it had variable leg angles. Sometimes its nice to prop a leg up on something other then ground. If your buying over the internet and your reading this, I suggest you go to the store and play with one. See what you think. For 99% of people out there this is a great unit, for that 1% that want perfection, buy a Manfrotto.
